Taley Disability Services is an NDIS provider in Perth, Western Australia, offering person-centred support across eight NDIS support areas, from daily personal activities and household tasks to community participation and supported living. Arton designed and built the platform that runs the service: participant records, support plans, rostering, shift notes, incidents and NDIS billing, together with the public website and a secure participant portal.
NDIS providers carry a heavy administrative load. Every participant has a plan with its own goals, funding categories and budgets. Every shift needs a support worker who is qualified, available and matched to the participant. Every hour delivered has to be recorded, checked against the plan and claimed correctly. On top of that, the NDIS Practice Standards expect clear records of consent, incidents and complaints.
When that information is split across spreadsheets, messaging apps and paper notes, the time goes to admin instead of people, and mistakes in rostering or claims are easy to make.
Arton set out to give Taley one system that follows each participant from first enquiry to delivered support and paid claim, so the team can spend its time on what it does best: real people, real support.
A secure, cloud-hosted platform with three faces: a back office for the Taley team, a mobile-friendly app for support workers, and a portal for participants and their families.
Online support requests and appointment booking feed straight into the platform. Each participant has one record: contact and consent details, NDIS number, plan dates, funding categories and budgets, goals and support preferences.
Person-centred support plans linked to NDIS line items. Shifts are rostered against worker availability, skills and screening status, with clashes and over-budget bookings flagged before they happen.
Support workers clock in and out, write progress notes against the participant's goals and record incidents from their phone. Incidents follow a structured review and reporting workflow aligned with NDIS Practice Standards.
Delivered hours become claim lines automatically, priced from the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements. The platform tracks spend against each plan budget and prepares claims for plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed participants.
Participants and nominated family members sign in to see upcoming supports, their support workers, plan progress and remaining budget, and to request changes.
New enquiries, support requests and appointment bookings arrive from the website as structured records, not loose emails.
A warm, accessible website presenting Taley's eight NDIS support areas, how the service works and how to get started, built to WCAG accessibility guidelines.
Role-based access, audit trails and encrypted data hosted in Australia, supporting Taley's obligations under the Privacy Act and the NDIS Code of Conduct.
