Kenbest Logistics is a freight and logistics company based in Perth, Western Australia, managing international shipping and customs clearance across sea, air and road freight lanes. Arton Technologies designed and developed their logistics management platform — a comprehensive system covering freight quoting, shipment management, customs documentation, container tracking, client self-service portal, and financial controls — replacing a patchwork of spreadsheets, emails and disconnected carrier portals.
Kenbest was growing. More shipments, more clients, more freight corridors — but the operational infrastructure hadn't kept pace. Customer enquiries about shipment status went to a shared email inbox. Freight quotes were assembled manually from carrier rate cards. Customs documentation was prepared in Word templates and tracked in a folder on a shared drive. Invoicing was disconnected from operations — which meant revenue recognition depended on someone manually flagging a job as complete.
The team knew every active shipment, but that knowledge lived in individual operators' heads rather than in a system. When someone was sick, the business could not answer a client's question without calling the person who was off.
Arton designed the platform to be the single source of truth for every shipment Kenbest touches — from the moment a quote is issued to the moment proof of delivery is confirmed and an invoice is generated automatically. The client portal brought customers into the same information view without requiring staff intervention.
